The Play-to-Airdrop campaigns reward the earliest builders and active players of Townies for their engagement and contribution to the ecosystem, before and after launch. It’s not just about farming tokens, it’s about playing, exploring, inviting, and helping shape the Townies world from the ground up.

⚠️ Important Notice — Read Before Joining! To ensure your rewards are properly tracked and distributed, make sure to use the same Twitter (X) account when:

  • Joining the Play-to-Airdrop campaigns (Galxe, quests, etc.)

  • Connecting to the Townies DApp or in-game account

Using different accounts may result in unverified activity or loss of rewards. Keep your identifiers consistent across all platforms!

Campaign Structure

The campaign unfolds in two complementary phases that together form one continuous journey.

Phase 1 — Early Campaign (Pre-Launch)

Goal: Build awareness, gather early supporters, and grow the Base community around Townies. Timeline: From now until the official launch (early November).

Activities include:

  • Follow Townies on X and Farcaster

  • Explore the demo via townies.games

  • Join the community with a referral link (tracked)

  • Participate in quests, or early access tests

  • Complete tasks on Galxe

Phase 2 — Live Campaign (Post-Launch)

Goal: Reward active players and loyal community members who help the world of Townies grow after launch.

Activities include:

  • Play actively (buildings, upgrades, land expansion)

  • Reach milestones (build your first Castle, 10 buildings built, etc.)

  • Invite new players via your referral code

  • Join in-game or social events (Base App / Farcaster/Discord)

  • Create and share content (threads, gameplay, memes)

  • Continue completing Galxe quests, which will remain live and evolve alongside in-game progress

Even after launch, Galxe quests will stay active — featuring new missions, seasonal campaigns, and onchain challenges linked to in-game actions.

Rewards & Allocation

A dedicated portion of the $TOWNIES supply is reserved for the Play-to-Airdrop campaign, covering both pre-launch and post-launch phases.

Play to Airdrop #1 Indicative split:

  • 🧱 35% — early participation (quests, engagement, social actions)

  • 🏗️ 65% — in-game activity and referrals

Rewards include:

  • $GOLD tokens

  • In-game bonuses
